Our informative one-day seminar was held Friday, October 14, 2005 at the Coral House in Baldwin, New York. This seminar was sponsored by the Metropolitan Association of Home Inspectors (a Chapter of the National Association of Home Inspectors). One session was about inspecting oil heating systems—boilers, burners, controls, tanks, etc. The other session was the particular techniques and issues in inspecting historic buildings. Continuing education is one of the keys to success in any business. Changing technology in the Home Inspection field and the desire to remain aware of new developments should motivate us to be more knowledgeable. The new licensing requirements include continuing education and our conference is an excellent way to do this. Time spent learning is never wasted time. . 6 NAHI Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) was accredited to all who attended. MAHI Long Island Seminar: 2005
